A candidate for the Anambra State off-cycle governorship election, Dr. George Moghalu, recently acquired the nomination and expression of interest forms from the Labour Party for ₦30 million at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
Expressing his confidence after securing the forms, Moghalu stated his determination to clinch victory in the party’s primary election and ultimately defeat the incumbent governor in the main election.
He emphasized his commitment to the party and its members, highlighting his loyalty and consistent party affiliation throughout his political career.
The LP National Chairman, Julius Abure, reiterated the party’s commitment to conducting a transparent and fair primary election in Anambra State, emphasizing that party members will have the final say in selecting the gubernatorial candidate.
Abure encouraged Moghalu to engage with party members and garner their support as they hold the power to nominate the candidate. He wished Moghalu success in his political endeavors.
