In Abuja, the Federal High Court denied a request from a member of the Peoples Democratic Party to stop the Independent National Electoral Commission from implementing his removal as the party’s national secretary. The court instructed the member to inform the defendants and scheduled a hearing on the matter. The court declined to grant immediate relief through an ex parte application, emphasizing the need to hear from all parties involved.
