APC condoles with Borno, Yobe govs over flooding, terrorist attack

The All Progressives Congress (APC) expressed sorrow over the destructive floods in parts of Borno State caused by the collapse and overflow of the Alau dam, resulting in the devastation of property, livelihoods, and farmlands. The National Working Committee, under the leadership of National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, visited Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State to offer condolences after a recent terrorist attack that led to loss of lives.
The APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, shared this information in a statement from Abuja. Dr. Ganduje, along with other committee members, visited Borno State Governor, Prof Babagana Zulum, and Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, to show solidarity with the affected governments and residents. Ganduje pledged the Federal Government’s support in providing essential aid to flood victims and preventing future tragic incidents like the recent attack in Yobe.
In Borno, Ganduje extended sympathies to Governor Zulum and the residents for the extensive damage caused by the flooding. In Yobe, he expressed condolences for the lives lost in the terrorist attack at Mara village, Tarmuwa LGA.
