In Abeokuta, Ogun State, Kuta Arts Foundation organized its first 2024 art exhibition opening, showcasing the talents of artists from the region. The exhibition took place from July 5th to August 31st, 2024, featuring a range of cultural activities to engage the local art community.
The exhibition, titled “Super Nature,” highlighted the works of ten artists who participated in the Kuta Art Residency 2024 program. The event started with a documentary film screening on July 5th and continued with the exhibition opening on July 6th in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
“Super Nature” serves as a platform to reflect on the extraordinary challenges faced in today’s society, emphasizing resilience, unity, and artistic expression. The artworks presented delve into themes of environmental, social, and political changes, offering a glimpse into a community thriving on creativity and collaboration.
