The Acting Controller-General of the Nigerian Correctional Service has been appointed by the President following the expiration of the tenure of the current CG.
The previous CG was appointed in February 2021 by the former President.
The Secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Board announced the appointment, effective from December 15, 2024.
The newly appointed Acting CG is tasked with bringing his experience to his new role.
