As Yagi intensified, with wind speeds reaching up to 209 kilometers per hour, Hainan upgraded its emergency response. Anticipated to make landfall in Hainan or Guangdong, activities in Haikou were suspended. Hong Kong also prepared for the typhoon’s impact, with classes and flights being affected. Yagi is forecasted to move towards Vietnam, prompting storm warnings and mobilization of military personnel for response efforts. Coastal areas are implementing safety measures, while mountainous regions are preparing for potential rescue operations.
