The Acting Governor of Cross River State has convened a meeting with stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, as well as the chairman and councilors of Bekwerra Local Government Area. This meeting comes after the impeachment of the council Chairman, Theresa Ushie. The Acting Governor has instructed Ushie’s reinstatement, as stated by the Commissioner for Information, Erasmus Ekpang.
