Dangote refinery: Clark lauds Tinubu, urges fair petrol price

The leader of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, Chief Edwin Clark, has expressed his admiration for the implementation of the Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) rollout from the Dangote refinery by President Bola Tinubu.

He encouraged the President to continue supporting such endeavors within the industry and emphasized the importance of maintaining a fair pricing system to avoid further hardship for Nigerians. Clark also stressed the necessity of ensuring a consistent crude oil supply to sustain the refinery’s production capacity.

In a statement he released, Clark commended President Tinubu for his leadership in achieving this milestone and urged for ongoing support for similar projects in the oil and gas sector.

He also highlighted the opportunity presented by the Dangote Refinery for a reevaluation of the policy on modular refineries in the Niger Delta, originally backed by a previous administration.

Additionally, Clark praised Aliko Dangote, the CEO of the refinery, for completing the project and his charitable contributions. He recognized the refinery’s completion as a significant achievement that will enhance domestic production, reduce import dependency, and generate employment opportunities.

Clark expressed his satisfaction with the refinery’s impact on the Nigerian economy and the potential to alleviate fuel scarcity issues in the country. He encouraged other entrepreneurs to follow Dangote’s example in contributing to national development and community welfare.
