The weeklong maiden edition of Remo Day concluded with a grand rally on December 27, 2024, at the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu, Ogun State.
The event showcased various cultural displays including dance, food, and traditional attire. It commenced with opening prayers from religious leaders followed by a welcome address by the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland, Oba Babatunde Ajayi.
During the rally, Governor Dapo Abiodun highlighted the achievements of Remoland in agriculture, industry, education, and technology. He emphasized the unity and cultural pride of the community and its contribution to the state’s development.
Notable attendees at the event included political figures, business leaders, and traditional rulers. The celebration concluded with a royal banquet at the Akarigbo Palace to mark the success of the program.
Leading up to the grand rally, various activities were organized, including an art exhibition and a dance drama showcasing the culture and history of Remoland.
