Singer and entrepreneur D’banj has launched the Nigerian Youth Positively Driven initiative following Afreximbank’s equity acquisition in the C.R.E.A.M Platform.
The launch coincided with the UN@80 celebration in Abuja and the unveiling of the Creative Alliance for Peace.
The NYPD initiative encourages Nigerians to document positive actions, inspiring deeds, and community impact.
Featured individuals can win while uploaders earn N250,000, with N1,000,000 rewards issued weekly.
Selected entries are further supported by the Creative Alliance for Peace, which also promotes renewable energy and sustainability projects across the country.
“When you talk about the creative industry, we know content is the biggest export we have as a nation. But we don’t have enough strong alliances or platforms where youths can access support effectively,” D’banj said.
“Africa is the biggest when it comes to creativity, and we have not even scratched 20 per cent. It is so important to come together. We’re moving, and the movement is called Nigerian Youths Positively Driven. With it, we have created the alliance,” he added.
