#EdoDecides2024: INEC to begin collation of results 10 am

The Independent National Electoral Commission has announced that the collation of results from the Edo State governorship election held on Saturday will commence at 10 am today.

This information was shared in a statement released by the Resident Electoral Commissioner in Edo State, Dr Anugbum Omuoha.

The REC has assured the public that the collation process will be carried out transparently, following the commission’s regulations.

“The collation of results for the ongoing Edo State governorship election will resume today, Sunday, September 22, at 10 am,” the statement stated.

Omuoha emphasized the commitment of the commission to conducting the collation process according to set guidelines and appreciated the patience and cooperation of all parties involved.

“We thank the parties for their patience and cooperation as we work towards ensuring a credible and accurate outcome of this crucial election,” he mentioned.

The REC also urged all stakeholders to maintain calm and orderliness, emphasizing INEC’s dedication to delivering a free, fair, and transparent election in Edo State.
