The Board of Directors at Eterna Plc has named Mr. Olumide Adeosun as the new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, effective February 3, 2025, following the resignation of the outgoing MD/CEO, Mr. Abiola Lawal, effective January 31, 2025.
Adeosun’s appointment was praised by the board, acknowledging Lawal’s past contributions and leadership. Adeosun brings over 25 years of experience in finance and energy, previously holding positions at Rainoil Limited and Eterna Industries Limited.
His career highlights include roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers UK, BP Plc, and PwC’s West Africa Energy Advisory team, where he led significant transactions and growth initiatives. Adeosun’s leadership at Ardova Plc resulted in a successful transformation strategy, emphasizing LPG and renewable energy, and securing a stake in the Olua Field.
Adeosun’s professional affiliations include membership in the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria, fellowship in the Chartered Institute of Directors, and belonging to the Society for Petroleum Engineers. He holds degrees in Architecture and Mathematics from Woodbury University, California, and Royal Holloway, University of London, respectively.
