The former governor recognized the need for restitution and expressed a desire to give back to the community. He acknowledged the temptations and challenges faced while in office and emphasized the importance of reconnecting with the people.
Bafarawa emphasized his ongoing relationship with the people of Sokoto State and his dedication to their well-being. At 70 years old, he felt a strong sense of responsibility to address any shortcomings from his time in office.
