Father seeks financial help for three-year-old daughter’s skin surgery

A father residing in Lagos is seeking assistance to save his three-year-old daughter, Oluwadamilola, who suffered severe burns from a boiling pot of meat. The incident occurred when the hot liquid spilled on her stomach as she was going to have breakfast. The father, Alimi Razaq, was at work when he received the distressing news from his wife.

The little girl was rushed to Afolabi Hospital in Oworoshoki for treatment, but despite spending over N100,000, the hospital’s efforts did not lead to any improvement in her condition. Due to recommendations, Razaq decided to transfer his daughter to another hospital, as it was believed that Afolabi Hospital lacked the necessary resources to handle such severe burns. Unfortunately, their financial situation worsened after their rented apartment collapsed, causing injuries to both daughters.

With depleted savings and mounting medical expenses, Razaq found himself unable to afford the N600,000 required for his daughter’s skin surgery. He expressed his desperation for help, emphasizing the excruciating pain his daughter is enduring and the urgent need for assistance to save her life. Razaq is reaching out to the public for support in raising the necessary funds for Oluwadamilola’s surgery.
