The Federal Ministry of Works has commenced urgent repairs on sections of the Abuja-Kaduna Dual Carriageway to enhance the road conditions for users. The repairs are being carried out by Messrs H&M (Nig.) Ltd, with a focus on addressing potholes and failed sections. The project, from Zuba, FCT to Tafa, Niger/Kaduna States’ border, is expected to be completed within two weeks with a contract sum of N366 million. Officials have emphasized the importance of timely completion and adherence to the project terms. The road is crucial for connecting the Northern and Southern regions, essential for economic growth. The work is progressing well despite challenges such as heavy traffic, with asphalting set to commence soon. Regular inspections and oversight are being conducted to ensure the project’s successful completion.
