The Minister of Defence has emphasized the Federal Government’s dedication to addressing insecurity in the South East region. During an operational visit to Enugu State, the Minister conveyed the government’s commitment to tackling various forms of insecurity under the leadership of President Tinubu. He stressed the importance of a safe environment for economic growth and stability.
The Minister urged military personnel to increase their efforts in combating insecurity in the region, emphasizing that the government’s commitment extends beyond one specific area to the whole nation. Significant progress has been made in the past year towards this goal.
During his visit to Imo State as part of his regional tour, the Minister met with Governor Hope Uzodimma to acknowledge the support provided for military operations. The Minister reiterated the government’s determination to eradicate insecurity nationwide, highlighting the Defence Ministry’s dedication to creating a secure and peaceful environment conducive to business and community development in the South East.
