The Minister of State for Works has reaffirmed the government’s dedication to completing the reconstruction of the Sokoto-Gusau-Funtua-Zaria road project spanning 750 kilometers on time. During an inspection of the ongoing project, he emphasized the importance of adhering to contractual agreements and maintaining quality and speed in the work. The minister mentioned President Tinubu’s commitment to executing impactful legacy projects and noted the commencement of a 1,068-kilometer Sokoto-Badagry Super Highway project, which he described as a significant development for the citizens. The minister interacted with contractors, project officials, and community members during the tour, assuring compensation for deserving property owners.
