The Governor of Anambra State, during a meeting with the newly appointed members of the South East Development Commission (SEDC), emphasized the need for the commission to focus on one project at a time for impactful results. He suggested concentrating efforts on initiatives like the south east rail network to connect state capitals effectively. By prioritizing and delivering one project before moving on to the next, the SEDC can ensure tangible outcomes within five years. Collaboration with South-East governors was also encouraged to drive progress. The CEO and Chairman of the SEDC Board of Directors acknowledged the Governor’s achievements in various sectors, while the Managing Director reiterated the commission’s commitment to transforming the southeast region into a thriving investment destination for sustainable development and economic growth.
