The swearing-in event, held in Gombe, was followed by a comprehensive one-day induction and refresher course for the judges. The course focused on improving justice delivery, jurisdictional competence, and adherence to the code of conduct within the judiciary.

During the ceremony, Justice Mohammed highlighted the significance of the appointments, emphasizing the need for the judges to uphold fairness, diligence, and a strict adherence to the rule of law in their service.

She expressed confidence that the appointed judges would embody values such as integrity, impartiality, and a profound sense of justice. Justice Mohammed also stressed the importance of timely case management, citing the adage that “justice delayed is justice denied.”
