Reports indicate that a 48-year-old farmer, referred to as Titi Camara, was recently abducted by unknown gunmen in Issele-Azagba, Delta State. The incident occurred while he was returning to his farm at Umu Ubeh Farm around 7 pm on a Friday.
Sources reveal that the family was contacted the following morning, with the kidnappers demanding a ransom of N40 million for Mr. Kingsley Mordi’s release.
The authorities have been informed, and efforts are being made by the local police to secure the victim’s safe return. This incident follows a series of kidnappings in the same area.
Upon reaching out to the State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, he expressed uncertainty about whether the case had been officially reported to the police.
