In Adamawa State, a 20-year-old suspected robber named Abubakar Abdu has been arrested by the police for allegedly fatally stabbing a woman during a robbery attempt involving maize. The incident occurred in Gengle village of Mayo Belwa Local Government Area. The suspect entered the victim’s home to steal maize and when recognized, he stabbed her before fleeing. The victim succumbed to her injuries. Abdu, a resident of Gengle village, will face charges after the investigation is completed. In a separate report, a 25-year-old man in Lagos allegedly stabbed his father to death, as reported by the Lagos State Police Command. The incident took place in the Isolo area, with the suspect’s brother reporting it to the Aswani Police Divisional Station.
