The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, expressed his determination to uphold his beliefs in the face of internal turmoil within the Peoples Democratic Party.
During a media briefing to commemorate his first year as the FCT minister, the former Rivers State governor affirmed his resolve to stay and defend his principles.
His stance follows a recent call by Chief Edwin Clark, a former Federal Commissioner for Information and South-South leader, urging the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party to expel Wike from the party to prevent its downfall.
Despite speculations about his potential exit from the PDP amid the party’s internal challenges, the minister declared his intention to remain and confront the issues.
