Despite the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, there have been violent incidents involving armed or masked Palestinians, according to an Israeli military spokesperson on Wednesday.
One of the encounters resulted in the death of a man identified as a member of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad group.
Soldiers have also resorted to firing warning shots to deter masked individuals from approaching, as reported by the spokesperson.
The military emphasizes its commitment to the ceasefire while ensuring the safety of its personnel through necessary precautions.
It has advised Palestinians to avoid interactions with military personnel.
Following the agreed terms, Israeli forces have withdrawn their vehicles from Jabaliya in the northern Gaza Strip.
The military shared images of tanks leaving the area along the border fence.
