The governor-elect of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo, was hosted by a high-profile figure at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja.
Okpebholo was accompanied into the President’s office by prominent members of the ruling All Progressives Congress, including Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje and several governors from the party.
Among those present were notable figures like the Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum, Hope Uzodimma, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Mai Mala Buni, Uba Sani, Usman Ododo, and Dapo Abiodun.
The meeting also had the Senator representing Edo North Senatorial District, Adams Oshiomhole, and the Edo State Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu in attendance.
Following the declaration by the Independent National Electoral Commission of Okpebholo as the winner of the recent governorship election in Edo State, discussions ensued.
