Kaduna LP declares support for Abure

The Kaduna State chapter of the Labour Party has expressed its unwavering support for National Chairman, Barrister Julius Abure. In a recent statement, party officials cautioned members against engaging in activities that could sow discord within the party, citing the influence of certain self-serving individuals and a suspended party member. The party emphasized the importance of upholding the party’s principles and leadership in preparation for the upcoming Local Government Elections in Kaduna State.

The State Chairman, along with key party leaders, affirmed their backing of Barrister Abure’s leadership, emphasizing its potential to drive the party’s objectives and serve the interests of the Nigerian populace in the forthcoming general elections. They highlighted the united front of the party and its commitment to fulfilling its constitutional duties, urging members to remain focused amidst attempts to undermine the party’s integrity.

The party clarified that there are no factions within the Labour Party in Kaduna State, stressing its unity and determination to make a significant impact in the state. It also pointed out the disruptive efforts of certain individuals who aim to control the party, emphasizing the party’s exclusive focus on the upcoming Local Government Elections without succumbing to distractions.

Furthermore, the party called upon Governor Alex Otti of Abia State to leverage his position in fostering unity within the party, envisioning a strengthened Labour Party that can wield influence not only in Kaduna State but nationwide.
