The Kano State Government has set Saturday, November 2, 2024, as the designated visiting day for parents and guardians of pupils and students in boarding public/private primary and post-primary schools in the state. The visiting hours are from 9 am to 5 pm on that day.
The Director of Public Enlightenment at the Kano State Ministry of Education, Balarabe Kiru, made the announcement, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the rules and regulations during the visiting period.
Furthermore, the state Commissioner of Education, Umar Doguwa, expressed gratitude to the state government for their support and cooperation with the ministry. He extended well wishes for a successful and trouble-free visiting period to students, parents, and guardians.
In a separate event earlier in July 2024, the state governor restated his administration’s dedication to revitalizing the education sector in the state during the Education Recovery Conference. The governor highlighted the need for collaboration among parents, teachers, government, and the private sector to ensure that every child in the state receives quality education.
