The Kano State Internal Revenue Service has recently introduced a groundbreaking mobile motor license center in Kano, Nigeria. This innovative center aims to revolutionize the process of obtaining motor licenses by incorporating cutting-edge digital technology. Dr. Zaid Abubakar, the Executive Chairman, revealed this development during the KIRS Day at the 45th Kano International Trade Fair.
The introduction of the mobile motor license center signifies the state’s commitment to enhancing revenue generation efficiently. Governor Abba Yusuf’s administration is dedicated to facilitating easy and timely payment of dues by eligible entities. This IT-driven license center will play a pivotal role in bolstering the state’s Internally Generated Revenue.
The Executive Director of Compliance and Enforcement Group at KIRS, Muhammad Aliyu, mentioned that two mobile centers have been inaugurated initially, with plans to expand and establish more centers across the state. This initiative aims to ensure comprehensive coverage and accessibility to motor license services.
