The disbursement of N70 million to 700 youths from all 21 Local Government Areas of Kebbi State was recently launched by the Governor, Nasir Idris. Each youth will receive a grant of N100,000 to start their businesses and become self-reliant. The program aims to benefit both genders equally and promote inclusivity.
The Governor emphasized the importance of using the grant wisely to improve their lives and help others in the future. The State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development praised the Governor for this initiative, calling it a “game changer” that will positively impact the youth in the state. He urged the beneficiaries to take advantage of the program to enhance their livelihoods.
It was stressed that the youth and the entire population of Kebbi State should support the current administration by embracing its policies and programs.
