Kogi CP charges promoted officers to uphold policing standards

The Commissioner of Police in Kogi State, Miller Dantawaye, has urged three recently promoted officers to maintain the highest standards of policing to justify their new roles. The promoted officers are Assistant Commissioner of Police Emmanuel Ojo, Area Commander Ayingba, Assistant Commissioner of Police Peter Essien, and Assistant Commissioner of Police Ali Anslem, AC Operations.

Their promotions were granted in acknowledgment of their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to service. The Commissioner of Police, in a statement released by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Superintendent of Police William Aya, emphasized the need for the newly promoted officers to uphold excellence in their duties.

The decoration ceremony took place at the Kogi State Police Command Headquarters, attended by senior officers, family members, and well-wishers. Commissioner Dantawaye congratulated the officers on their promotion, highlighting that their hard work and discipline led to this recognition.

He advised the officers to view their new ranks as a higher calling, stressing the importance of responsibility, leadership, and dedication to national service. The Commissioner encouraged them to execute their duties with diligence and professionalism, cooperate with the Command’s Management Team, and maintain security and order in the state.
