The Kogi State Government strongly denounces the assault on the Social Democratic Party’s gubernatorial candidate, Muritala Ajaka, at the Supreme Court following the resolution of the election disputes involving the Governors of Kogi, Imo, and Bayelsa states. In a statement released by the state Commissioner for Information, Kingsley Fanwo, the attack was labeled as unjustified and unacceptable. Governor Ahmed Ododo condemned the actions of the perpetrators, labeling them as barbaric and a threat to the justice system. He emphasized the need for Nigerians to avoid taking matters into their own hands and urged law enforcement agencies to apprehend the culprits and ensure they face appropriate legal consequences.
