Lookman returns for Inter clash today

Ademola Lookman, the talented forward of the football team Super Eagles, is set to make a comeback to the Atalanta squad for their upcoming Serie A match against Inter Milan at the San Siro on Friday.

After facing some disruptions due to transfer rumors linking him to PSG, the Nigeria international is now back in action for Atalanta. Recent reports mention that the 27-year-old has resumed full training with the team and will be eligible for selection in the match against Nerrazzurri.

Although there was significant interest from PSG earlier, it seems to have subsided, indicating that Lookman will continue with Atalanta for the upcoming season.

However, Atalanta’s manager Gian Piero Gasperini might need to make adjustments due to an injury setback to Nicolo Zaniolo, their summer signing. Zaniolo’s muscular strain in his left adductor puts his starting position in doubt.

Lookman’s return to full training is a positive development for Atalanta as they aim for another victory in the new season, especially against the reigning Serie A champions. His speed and attacking skills played a crucial role in Atalanta’s success last season and his presence will be vital in their pursuit of a positive outcome.

During the transfer window, there were rumors surrounding Lookman’s future, including reported interest from Arsenal. Despite inquiries from Arsenal and his preference for PSG, it seems Lookman is now fully committed to Atalanta.

With PSG’s interest fading, Lookman and Atalanta can now focus on their upcoming matches without distractions.
