In Sagamu, Ogun State, a man was apprehended for allegedly sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl. The incident occurred around 2 pm on Wednesday, as reported by the authorities. The suspect, Samuel Ani, is suspected of impregnating the minor, a claim he has admitted to. Law enforcement officials confirmed that the survivor was promptly taken to a medical facility for evaluation. The police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, disclosed that the girl’s father reported the crime, leading to Ani’s arrest. The case will be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department once initial inquiries are concluded. In a separate incident in the same state, a landlord in his 70s was arrested for similar charges involving a 14-year-old tenant’s daughter. The community was shocked when the elderly man was caught engaging in inappropriate behavior with the girl in the house’s bathroom.
