NAF recorded 20,000 flight hours in 2024, says CAS

The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, announced that the Nigerian Air Force has accumulated close to 20,000 flight hours during its operations in 2024. Abubakar conveyed this information in a message to the NAF officers and airmen for the Christmas celebration. He commended the NAF for its dedication in safeguarding the nation’s interests, especially in combating insurgency, banditry, and other criminal activities.

Despite facing challenges throughout the year, Abubakar praised the valor and resilience of the NAF personnel, which led to significant operational achievements. He expressed gratitude to all members of the NAF family for their unwavering commitment and sacrifice in serving the country. Abubakar emphasized the importance of internal development to enhance self-reliance and reduce reliance on external support.

The Chief of the Air Staff encouraged continued cooperation among personnel and other security agencies to promote peace and security.
