NCAA faults Delta Air Lines delay, maltreatment of passenger

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority has raised concerns about the treatment of a Nigerian passenger by Delta Air Lines at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos. The passenger experienced a delay that caused them to miss a connecting flight in Atlanta. Despite being rebooked on another flight with a long wait time, the airline allegedly did not provide hotel accommodation or lounge access. The Director of Public Affairs at NCAA, Michael Achimugu, expressed dissatisfaction with the situation and threatened action. He emphasized that Nigerian passengers should be treated with care and dignity as per regulations. Delta Air Lines has yet to respond to the incident.
