Ndidi spends Boxing Day with Ajegunle kids

A heartwarming event took place on Boxing Day in Ajegunle, Lagos State, where around 2000 children were treated to a special party by Super Eagles and Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi. The event, held at the Maracana Sports Centre, was a joint effort with businessman Yemi Idowu, local government chairman Fatai Ayoola, and traditional ruler Mohammed Amodu-Tijani.

Despite being injured, Ndidi took the time to serve guests and distribute food items to the children, citing his own childhood experiences as the inspiration behind the event.

The midfielder expressed his joy in creating lasting memories for the children, emphasizing the impact such gestures can have on them. He highlighted the importance of bringing happiness to kids during the holiday season, regardless of their backgrounds.

Cana Sports CEO Yemi Idowu commended Ndidi for his generosity, noting the significance of community collaboration in making such events successful.

Local government chairman Fatai Ayoola mentioned the logistical support provided to ensure a smooth celebration for all attendees, underscoring the commitment to bringing joy to the children of Ajegunle.
