Following a recent unfortunate incident, the first vice president of the Nigeria Football Federation has been discharged from the hospital after being injured during a robbery at his Abuja residence. The incident resulted in the theft of his car, phones, cash, and other valuables, leaving him hospitalized with a bandaged arm.
The former Enyimba boss, upon leaving the hospital, expressed gratitude for the concern shown and mentioned plans to discuss the incident further once settled at home.
Efforts are underway by the Abuja Police Command to recover the stolen items and apprehend the perpetrators, as confirmed by FCT PPRO, Josephine Adeh.
In response to the incident, Enyimba chairman, Kanu Nwankwo, has called on security agencies to swiftly bring the culprits to justice, emphasizing the need for a thorough investigation.
The NFF leadership also visited the former Enyimba chairman to offer their support and sympathy during this challenging time.
