President Bola Tinubu recently announced plans for a 30-day national conference focused on Nigerian youths. The conference aims to provide a platform for addressing the various challenges faced by young people in the country. Tinubu emphasized the importance of involving the youth in shaping the future, acknowledging their role as key architects of the future society.
In his 64th Independence Anniversary address to the nation, Tinubu highlighted the government’s commitment to engaging with young people and harnessing their creative energy for a better tomorrow. The National Youth Conference is set to bring together young individuals from across the nation to discuss and develop solutions to issues such as education, employment, innovation, security, and social justice.
The President expressed the government’s dedication to ensuring that the voices and aspirations of young people are central to the discussions and outcomes of the conference. He also mentioned ongoing youth-centric initiatives, such as the Technical Talents program, the Nigerian Education Loan Fund, and The Renewed Hope Labour Employment and Empowerment Programme, aimed at empowering young Nigerians and creating job opportunities for them.
