Reports indicate that there have been concerns raised about the alleged disappearance of six ladies after a house party in the Lekki area. However, the Lagos State Police Command has stated that no formal complaint has been lodged at any police station regarding this matter.
The Assistant Commissioner of Police for Area J Command (Elemoro), Oluyemisi Ojo, mentioned that despite public outcry, no official report has been made to the police regarding the missing ladies.
A video circulating online tells of a lady who narrates the incident where seven women were invited to a party, but only one managed to escape after realizing her forgotten wig. The fate of the remaining six women is unknown as their phones are unreachable and friends have been unsuccessful in reaching them.
The police are currently trying to locate the individual who shared the information online to gather more details about the incident, as no formal complaint has been filed regarding the missing girls.
In a separate development, it was reported that cases of missing young women have been linked to ritual practices in Lagos and Ogun states, possibly influenced by the increasing hookup culture in the country.
