Nobody arranged miracle with me, says woman in Zion testimony scandal

In a recent court case at Zion Prayer Ministry, a woman named Loveth Helen faced charges of defamation, conspiracy, felony, and false pretense. The allegations stemmed from her claim of purchasing a five-bedroom duplex after receiving prayers from Evangelist Ebuka Obi. However, it was later revealed that the property belonged to Emmanuel Asogwa, leading to legal action against her.

During her court appearance, Helen pleaded not guilty to the charges. One of the charges accused her of presenting herself as the owner of the duplex belonging to Emmanuel Asogwa with the intent to defraud. Her lawyer requested bail, which was granted at ₦1 million with the condition of providing a surety with three years of tax clearance.

The magistrate presiding over the case adjourned it to April 9, 2025, for the next hearing. Helen, after the hearing, denied any involvement in deceiving people, maintaining that her testimony was based on faith and not fraud. She clarified that she had genuinely believed she would acquire the property and had not colluded with anyone or received any benefits.
