An actress from the Nollywood industry, Sharon Okpamen, has sadly passed away after giving birth.
The news of her death has deeply saddened the Nollywood community since it was shared online.
A well-known movie producer, Stanley Ontop, confirmed the tragic news on his official Instagram page, revealing that Sharon passed away after being in a coma for several days following childbirth.
He expressed, “The passing of Sharon Okpamen, a filmmaker, actress, entrepreneur, and humanitarian, is a great loss to Nollywood and the Edo entertainment sector.
“May her soul rest in peace. Amen @sharonokpamen. Things will only get better. Shalom!”
