NSCDC assures Kano residents of security during Ramadan

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Kano State has assured the residents of the region about their commitment to ensuring the safety of lives and property during the Ramadan fast. This assurance was conveyed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer in a statement. The State Commandant emphasized the Corps’ dedication to safeguarding critical national assets and infrastructure.

In celebration of International Civil Defence Day, activities were carried out to raise awareness about disaster preparedness, prevention, and response. The event also aimed to engage the community in emergency response measures and acknowledge the officers’ dedication to the Corps’ mission.

As part of the celebration, a road walk was conducted, and special prayers were offered at the Jum’at mosque, with a church service planned for the upcoming Sunday. The State Commandant highlighted the important role of the NSCDC in maintaining law and order and ensuring public safety.
