The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Katsina, Aminu Ahmed, and the Customs Area Controller of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) in Katsina, Idris Abba-Aji, have recently agreed to collaborate in efforts to combat trans-border crimes and enhance security in the state.
During a visit by the NSCDC Commander Ahmed to the Customs Area Commander Abba-Aji at Customs House in Katsina, both officials expressed their commitment to working together. The NSCDC Public Relations Officer, Buhari Hamisu, highlighted the long-standing partnership between NSCDC and NCS, which includes intelligence sharing, joint operations, and training.
The NSCDC State Commandant praised the leadership of the Commandant General for his dedication to national security and safeguarding critical national assets. He emphasized the importance of strengthening the relationship between NSCDC and NCS for the benefit of the community.
In response, the Customs Area Controller Abba-Aji welcomed the NSCDC boss and his team, affirming his dedication to fostering a cooperative working environment with NSCDC in Katsina. He acknowledged the successful joint operations conducted by both agencies and expressed his commitment to continuing such collaborations in the future.
