The Ogun State government is actively recruiting personnel for the Gateway International Airport as part of its commitment to making the airport operational by the end of 2025. The recruitment process aims to fill 14 key positions essential for aerodrome operations, including roles in medical services, driving, human resources, operations, and ground handling. The initiative, spearheaded by Governor Dapo Abiodun, began construction of the airport in the Ikenne Local Government Area in 2021 with the goal of creating a strategic economic hub and generating thousands of job opportunities. The recruitment circular, signed by Permanent Secretary Oladipupo Ogunfowora, emphasizes the importance of competence in the selection process. Interested candidates are required to submit their applications through the appropriate channels by a specified deadline, with requested documents for consideration.
