Ogun gov appoints ex-commissioner as chief of staff

The Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, has appointed Oluwatoyin Taiwo as the new Chief of Staff, replacing his previous role as the Deputy Chief of Staff. The announcement was made by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, Kayode Akinmade. Taiwo received his appointment letter from Governor Abiodun on Wednesday. The appointment is effective from December 18, 2024, and the governor congratulated Taiwo on his well-deserved promotion. Taiwo previously served as the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Abiodun’s administration before being promoted to Deputy Chief of Staff. He holds a B.Sc. in Statistics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and has pursued further education up to a Ph.D.
