A midfielder from Caykur Rizespor named Ibrahim Olawoyin has been selected for the Turkish Super Lig Team of the Week for the second week in a row, as reported by Sports Extra.
His spot in the team for match-week 12 comes after his outstanding performance in their recent 3-1 victory against Trabzonspor in a derby match over the weekend.
Scoring a goal in the game, the 26-year-old secured his first goal of the season, following his assist in the previous match against Sivasspor.
For both games, he received a high rating of 9.0 from the football statistics platform Flashscore.
Olawoyin was chosen alongside Victor Osimhen, a striker for the Super Eagles, who also scored two goals for Galatasaray in their tense 3-2 victory against Samsunspor.
He was positioned in a two-man midfield with Mert Hakan Yandaş from Fenerbahce, while Osimhen played as the lone striker.

With this win, Rizespor has secured their fourth victory of the season out of 11 games, having drawn one and lost one.
They currently hold the 12th position in the league table with 13 points and a game in hand.
Olawoyin transferred to Rizespor from Keciorengucu during the 2022/23 season, aiding both clubs in their quest for promotion to the top tier.
He played a significant role, contributing three goals and two assists in 16 league games for the promotion and continued his excellent performance in the top league last season, with eight goals and three assists in 36 games.
