The Olubadan of Ibadanland recently commended the Sultan of Sokoto for his efforts in promoting religious tolerance in Nigeria. During a courtesy visit by the Sultan to the Olubadan’s palace in Oke Aremo Ibadan, the Olubadan’s spokesperson expressed appreciation for the Sultan’s role as the co-chairman of Nigeria Inter-Religious Council. The Olubadan encouraged the Sultan to continue fostering religious harmony and tolerance nationwide. The Sultan, in turn, acknowledged his longstanding ties to Ibadan and wished the Olubadan a long and prosperous reign. The event was attended by various dignitaries from Ibadanland.
