The campaign efforts for the PDP candidate in Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi, have been intensified by Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and the PDP leadership in the South-West region. They have been actively engaging in various communities, markets, and palaces to garner support for Ajayi.
According to the PDP South-West Publicity Secretary, the campaign has covered areas like Bolorunduro, Ondo, and Owo in Ondo State. They have also visited the palace of the Osemawe and engaged with voters in markets to rally support for their candidate.
The feedback from the campaign has been positive, indicating a strong determination among the people of Ondo State to vote for the PDP candidate due to dissatisfaction with the current APC-led government’s performance.
Conversely, the Ondo State Commissioner for Information dismissed the PDP’s efforts as a mere “jamboree” and expressed confidence in the APC candidate, emphasizing the incumbent governor’s popularity and impactful projects.
Despite differing views, both parties are actively engaged in campaigning and mobilizing support ahead of the upcoming governorship election in Ondo State.
