The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, along with members of the party’s National Working Committee and Board of Trustees, visited the Yobe State Governor to express sympathy following the recent Mafa attack and flooding in the state. Gunmen, suspected to be Boko Haram insurgents, attacked Mafa village, while devastating floods in Bade LG resulted in the loss of lives. During the visit, the chairman commended the governor for promoting unity among citizens, regardless of political differences. The party expressed solidarity with the people of the state, acknowledging the pain caused by the attacks and floods. Former Senate President Ahmad Lawan also visited the governor to offer condolences and prayers for the victims.
