In Enugu State, the Peoples Democratic Party is making efforts to persuade Chief Chijioke Edeoga, the Labour Party’s governorship candidate in the upcoming 2023 elections, to return to their party. A delegation from the PDP, led by top officials including the chairman, deputy chairman, secretary, and publicity secretary, visited Chief Edeoga’s residence at Golf Estate. The visit was reportedly authorized by Governor Peter Mbah with the aim of convincing Chief Edeoga to rejoin the PDP. Further details on the matter are expected to be revealed soon.
