The police in Ogun State have apprehended three suspects involved in a burglary case linked to a container owned by a real estate company in the Ode Omi region. The suspects, identified as Balogun Jamiu, Iginla Adekunle, and Ahmadu Tairu, were captured after a complaint was filed by the company’s Chief Security Officer. It was reported that the burglary took place in February 2025 around 10:15 pm, resulting in the theft of building materials worth ₦10 million from the container. The stolen items included air-conditioning units, ceiling materials, a door, electrical units, pipes, iron rods, wires, and tiles. The State Police Public Relations Officer mentioned that the suspects confessed during investigations and will face charges after further inquiries. The public was urged to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities. Earlier, a 25-year-old man named Aron Hassan was also arrested for a similar crime involving stolen electric cables in the Igbesa community of Ado-Odo/Ota.
